Our client is looking for an experienced conveyancing assistant/executive to join their team. This role will be specialising in completions and post completions work - handling all aspects of the completions/post completions work and providing support to fee earners as required. Full or part time will be considered.
You will be involved in processing both sale and purchase files, interacting with lenders, solicitors etc to ensure that all documentation is compliant and made ready for file closure and archiving.
You will also deal with payments and refunds - reconciling the client account to close matters.
Day to day responsibilities will include:
Review and drafting of documents
Ordering title documents
Submission of SDLT to HMRC
Dealing with requisitions/correspondence from the Land registry
Anti-money laundering checks
Registration of transfer applications at Companies House and dealing with enquiries arising
Preparing payments/refunds to Clients, Solicitors and Management companies
Dealing with transfer formalities
Carrying out other duties and responsibilities as may be required.
